Вышло обновление до версии 1.1

Добавлена новая функция "Statistic". Суть функции в мониторинге использования файлов. За каждое открытие файла начисляется 10 единиц рейтинга, за каждую активацию окна открытого файла начисляется одна единица.

Просмотреть текущую статистику использования файлов можно в окне "FavorIt statistic". Открыть это окно можно из главного меню View или нажав на ссылку "Statistic" в окне "FavorIt". В этом же окне можно сразу добавить файл в список FavorIt или открыть этот файл.

Мелкие изменения:

• В окне FavorIt добавлен тултип для кнопки "удалить"
• В окне FavorIt для кнопки "удалить" используется Hand курсор
• Изменена иконка в главном меню

New update to version 1.1

Added new function "Statistic" that provides statistical information about files usage. For each open file raiting increase by 10 points. For each activation raiting increase by one point.

See current files usage statistics can be in the window "FavorIt statistic". You can open this window from View menu or by clicking on "Statistic" in "FavorIt" window. In this window you can just add a file to the FavorIt list or open file directly.

Minor changes:

• In the FavorIt added tooltip for the button "delete"
• In the FavorIt button "delete" Hand cursor is used
• Changed the icon in the main menu

Getting started

После установки расширения, для открытия окна FavorIt нужно выбрать пункт "FavorIt" в меню "View" главного меню Visual Studio

Окно FavorIt по умолчанию будет расположено около Solution Explorer, и выглядит так:

Для добавления нового пункта в FavorIt нужно выбрать пункт "FavorIt!" в контекстном меню Solution Explorer или Code Window:

После добавления файлов в FavorIt можно открыть редактор для любого из этих файлов просто кликнув на соответствующем пункте в окне FavorIt:

FavorIt сохраняет список файлов в корневой папке текущего решения в файле с расширением "*.favorit".

After installing the extension, to open a FavorIt window to select "FavorIt" in "View" menu of the main Visual Studio menu

After adding files to FavorIt you can open editor for any of these files by simply clicking in the FavorIt window:

FavorIt stores a list of these files in the root directory of the current solution in a file with extension "*.favorit".

Сегодня была выпущена первая версия FavorIt!

Возможностей пока минимум - можно добавлять, удалять и упорядочивать "любимчиков". Тем не менее, их вполне достаточно для релиза и гораздо более комфортной работы с большими проектами :)

Установить FavorIt можно из Visual Studio -> Extension Manager -> Onlint Gallery -> FavirIt или скачать пакет тут.

PS: Сейчас не все типы файлов имеют свои собственные значки, да и те, что есть мне не очень нравятся, если кто поделится набором бесплатных иконок для типов файлов буду очень благодарен.

FavorIt is released!

Features while at least - you can add, delete or order favorit items. However, they are sufficient for the release and much more comfortable working with large projects :)

Install FavorIt possible from Visual Studio -> Extension Manager -> Onlint Gallery -> FavirIt or download package here.

PS: Now, not all file types have their own icons, and even those that are not really like me, if someone will share a set of free icons for file types will be very grateful.

Этот блог посвящен одноименному расширению для MS Visual Studio - FavorIt.

FavorIt - просто позволяет сохранять список часто используемых файлов и открывать их, не роясь в часто громадной иерархии в Solution Explorer.

FavorIt сейчас находится на стадии разработки, но уже имеет своё постоянное жилище на bitbucket
